In her message addressed to Trump, Gabbard expressed appreciation for her time in office.

Trump confirmed the resignation in a separate post published on his Truth Social platform.
“Unfortunately, after having done a great job, Tulsi Gabbard will be leaving the Administration on June 30th,” Trump said. He also announced that Principal Deputy Director of National Intelligence Aaron Lukas would assume the position on an acting basis.
The resignation had previously been reported by US media outlets, which said the move was not connected to political disputes or concerns surrounding Gabbard’s performance in office.
