Thailand’s industrial confidence drops due to Cambodia-US border conflict

(MENAFN) Thailand’s industrial confidence continued its downward trend in July, marking the fifth consecutive month of decline, according to reports.

The Thai Industries Sentiment Index fell to 86.6 in July, down from 87.7 in June, as most of its components saw decreases, reaching the lowest point in three years.

The data was derived from a survey of 1,356 business owners representing 47 different industry groups, highlighting growing concerns over regional border tensions with Cambodia and trade measures imposed by the United States.
