China, ROK Pledge to Deepen Economic Partnership
He, who also serves as a member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, delivered these remarks while attending a China-ROK business forum in Beijing alongside ROK President Lee Jae Myung.
He emphasized that, guided by the consensus reached between the two nations’ leaders, both sides should actively advance the enhancement and modernization of trade and economic cooperation, continually opening new avenues for shared prosperity.
He further noted that China remains committed to broadening its high-level openness, welcoming enterprises from across the globe—including those from the ROK—to invest, conduct business, and benefit from China’s development opportunities.
President Lee remarked that in recent years, collaboration between the two countries has expanded across multiple sectors.
He affirmed the ROK’s readiness to deepen mutually advantageous cooperation with China, aiming to deliver greater benefits to both peoples.
The forum was co-hosted by the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade and the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry, drawing around 400 participants from government and business circles of both nations.
